15 Popular Binary Options Brokers of 2020: Which One Is ...

VR is not what a lot of people think it is. It's not comparable to racing wheels, Kinect, or 3DTVs. It offers a shift that the game industry hasn't had before; a first of it's kind. I'm going to outline what VR is like today in despite of the many misconceptions around it and what it will be like as it grows. What people find to be insurmountable problems are often solvable.
What is VR in 2020?
Something far more versatile and far-reaching than people comprehend. All game genres and camera perspectives work, so you're still able to access the types of games you've always enjoyed. It is often thought that VR is a 1st person medium and that's all it can do, but 3rd person and top-down VR games are a thing and in various cases are highly praised. Astro Bot, a 3rd person platformer, was the highest rated VR game before Half-Life: Alyx.
Lets crush some misconceptions of 2020 VR:

• The buy-in is $400 on average, not $1000 as that is Valve Index pricing.
• Motion sickness is easily avoidable for most people by sticking to games that have 1:1 fully synced or mostly synced body movement like Beat Saber or even Alyx with teleportation.

• VR isn't anti-social. It's actually the pinnacle of social communication devices. What it is (currently) is potentially isolating depending on how you use it.
• People will disabilities often think VR is not for them, when in all likelihood it probably is, because most disabilities work fine with VR and even have a lot to gain from the use of it.
• The setup of VR is much faster and quicker than it was just a few years ago thanks to inside-out tracking and standalones. A Quest user can get going within 10 seconds.

So what are the problems with VR in 2020?

• Bulky headsets.
• Low resolution and low FoV.
• Wireless isn't standard.
• Only a few released AAA exclusive games.
• Potential for eye strain and headaches.
• Some headsets feel really outdated. (PSVR)
• Isolating.
• Full body avatars don't align correctly.

Despite these downsides, VR still offers something truly special. What it enables is not just a more immersive way to game, but new ways to feel, to experience stories, to cooperate or fight against other players, and a plethora of new ways to interact which is the beating heart of gaming as a medium.
To give some examples, Boneworks is a game that has experimental full body physics and the amount of extra agency it provides is staggering. When you can actually manipulate physics on a level this intimately where you are able to directly control and manipulate things in a way that traditional gaming simply can't allow, it opens up a whole new avenue of gameplay and game design.
Things aren't based on a series of state machines anymore. "Is the player pressing the action button to climb this ladder or not?" "Is the player pressing the aim button to aim down the sights or not?"
These aren't binary choices in VR. Everything is freeform and you can basically be in any number of states at a given time. Instead of climbing a ladder with an animation lock, you can grab on with one hand while aiming with the other, or if it's physically modelled, you could find a way to pick it up and plant it on a pipe sticking out of the ground to make your own makeshift trap where you spin it around as it pivots on top of the pipe, knocking anything away that comes close by. That's the power of physics in VR. You do things you think of in the same vain as reality instead of thinking inside the set limitations of the designers. Even MGSV has it's limitations with the freedom it provides, but that expands exponentially with 6DoF VR input and physics.
I talked about how VR could make you feel things. A character or person that gets close to you in VR is going to invade your literal personal space. Heights are possibly going to start feeling like you are biologically in danger. The idea of tight spaces in say, a horror game, can cause claustrophobia. The way you move or interact with things can give off subtle almost phantom-limb like feelings because of the overwhelming visual and audio stimulation that enables you to do things that you haven't experienced with your real body; an example being floating around in zero gravity in Lone Echo.
So it's not without it's share of problems, but it's an incredibly versatile gaming technology in 2020. It's also worth noting just how important it is as a non-gaming device as well, because there simply isn't a more suitably combative device against a world-wide pandemic than VR. Simply put, it's one of the most important devices you can get right now for that reason alone as you can socially connect with no distancing with face to face communication, travel and attend all sorts of events, and simply manage your mental and physical health in ways that the average person wishes so badly for right now.
Where VR is (probably) going to be in 5 years
You can expect a lot. A seismic shift that will make the VR of today feel like something very different. This is because the underlying technology is being reinvented with entirely custom tech that no longer relies on cell phone panels and lenses that have existed for decades.

• Headsets are going to be about half the size of where they are today thanks to pancake lenses and other innovations in size reduction.
• Wireless will be fully standard out of the box.
• The resolution will be around the equivalent of 1080p monitors, so you'd probably be looking at 4K x 4K per eye or higher.
• The field of view will be 30-40% higher.
• Eye strain and headaches will be solved via varifocal displays and VR will become even more comfortable visually than 2D displays, as they still have these issues which can be only be solved in stereoscopic displays.
  
• The use of movement-synced vibrational feedback on the head alongside higher refresh rates will dramatically reduce motion sickness issues when involved in more intense movement which would make joystick locomotion a lot more applicable to a wider range of people.
  
• Isolation will be solved with mixed reality reconstruction enabling the real world to bleed into VR on a per object basis in real time. VR headsets are now in all senses MR headsets. (VR+AR in one device)
  
• Floating hands will be basically extinct as full-body tracking will be standard with every headset via camera-based tracking.
  
• Facial tracking and eye-tracking in combination with body tracking will enable extremely realistic fully tracked avatars not unlike what Ready Player One depicts.
  
• Foveated Rendering will be solved, making a typical VR game no more demanding on the GPU than it's equivalent non-VR version.
  
• AI Upscaling methods not unlike Nvidia DLSS 2.0 is used to further reduce the pixel rendering requirements.
  
• 3D audio is far more realistic via personal HRTF generation and better audio propagation algorithms. If not completely identical to the real world, it will feel pretty close.
  
• AAA content will be more aplenty.
  
• There will be plenty of non-gaming apps gaining bigger traction like some sort of social space or event-based app.
  
• PlayStation and Xbox will both support VR and a PSVR2 headset will have launched.
  

That's enough to solve almost all the issues of the technology and make it a buy-in for the average gamer. In 5 years, we should really start to see the blending of reality and virtual reality and how close the two can feel
Where VR is (probably) going to be in 10 years

• Two different form factors. Thin visors for maximum immersion with a human field of view and sunglasses for maximum social acceptance, with both having something close to retinal resolution.
  
• Force feedback haptic gloves in a consumer friendly form factor start to become the new standard input to replace motion controls.
  
• BCI input starts to get integrated into some headsets, enabling users to control the virtual world with their mind in varying ways, such as UI navigation, telekinesis, disability support, and mind-typing.
  
• VR is now effectively photorealistic in the visual and audio department and it's extremely hard if not impossible at times to tell the difference between the real world and the virtual world.
  
• Quite a number of people start to live big chunks of their lives in VR.
  
• Light-field 6DoF video will be common allowing you to move inside live videos or a playback of a video that are in every way indistinguishable from reality, at least visually/audibly.
  
• Streaming becomes mainstream as an option to consume games and it is now starting to become feasible to stream VR games as well.
  
• VAR start to replace traditional displays and devices with monitors, phones and handhelds especially on their way out, but TVs very likely still hold a strong presence due to their communal nature.
  
• If consoles still exist, their new features are now focused mostly on VR and how to integrate as seamlessly as possible into the VAR experience. Traditional gaming is still likely the most popular way to play, but consoles must find ways to market towards the new.
  
• VAR are the new norm for work, education, communication, entertainment and a lot of aspects of daily life.
  
• AAA VRMMORPGs start to get popular and become the new standard for the genre, revitalizing it.
  
• The metaverse starts to form in some small way, not yet reaching the magnitude of something like the OASIS, but still a very large and versatile world or web of worlds where the phrase "Do anything, go anywhere, become anyone, be with anyone" is the truest it's ever been.
  

In short, as good as if not better than the base technology of Ready Player One which consists of a visor and gloves. Interestingly, RPO missed out on the merging of VR and AR which will play an important part of the future of HMDs as they will become more versatile, easier to multi-task with, and more engrained into daily life where physical isolation is only a user choice. Useful treadmills and/or treadmill shoes as well as haptic suits will likely become (and stay) enthusiast items that are incredible in their own right but due to the commitment, aren't applicable to the average person - in a way, just like RPO.
At this stage, VR is mainstream with loads of AAA content coming out yearly and providing gaming experiences that are incomprehensible to most people today.
Overall, the future of VR couldn't be brighter. It's absolutely here to stay, it's more incredible than people realize today, and it's only going to get exponentially better and more convenient in ways that people can't imagine.

Hello, I am searching for a way to make bots with binary options brokers. But I can't find any way to go about doing that. I read an article saying that IQOption and many others left the MT4 platform, are they using MT5 now? Is there any platform for creating a bot that can be implemented into multiple options brokers? I know BinaryOption has binary.bot.com but is that compatible with any other brokers? Any help is greatly appreciated!

"Let's see what we've got then," Kai said, the calm command of his voice breaking the stunned silence aboard the bridge.
Teams sprang into action, each crew member remembering their duty amidst the shock of their first interaction with an interstellar species. Data flitted between consoles and a steady hub of activity sprung up around different members of the command staff. Foremost among them was Jack Griggs. His team crowded around him, combining the data from their respective fields in hopes of creating a holistic picture of what, exactly, was being sent. Projected in their midst was the logic tree diagram Jack had produced before, and Kai watched as it was steadily pruned in light of new events.
The first piece to go were the branches dedicated to outcomes that did not contemplate an intervenor. If Jack felt any vindication or satisfaction at that fact, he did not show it. Instead, there was only steely determination as the problem was attacked. Something wanted to communicate, but what were they saying? What did they want?
The desire to become directly involved was overwhelming, but Kai's experience told him he was best in the background, allowing the teams to work the problem without his interference. The simple fact was that Kai's expertise lay in leadership, not in actually doing any of the things needed to unravel a puzzle like this. He could direct, but he could not do. There was something odd about that, almost as if the person with the least knowledge was being vested with the responsibility to decide the course of action. Of course, that was the trick of leadership, knowing when to listen and when to push. Kai was a generalist, he could synthesize the entire field of battle and strategize ahead of the opponent.
The Admiral paused at that line of thought. Phrases like field of battle and opponent were natural to him. He was birthed in war, and had only recently come to peace. The United World government was a fragile project, just emerging from the desolation of decades of strife. Humanity had survived its battles with the demons of its own creation, but only just. When it had emerged, looking to the stars, they had searched the world over for those that would best embody the hope of a new, unified future.
Chief Science Officer Jack Griggs. Brit by ancestry, not that national ties mattered much in the new world. More importantly, he was a good man and one of the most brilliant minds of any generation. He had found the path to dismantling the Automics, and humanity would forever be in his debt. He was the most fragile, the price of victory haunting him still. The downward spiral always a possibility. Had Kai not listed Jack's presence as a condition of accepting command, he would not be here. Kai could not help but smile as he watched Jack now. It felt good to see his friend work on something beautiful after the terrors. Maybe, just maybe, they would both find their salvation in the black.
Chief Engineering Officer Idara Adeyemi. Nigerian out of the African Union. Iron will had brought her to the Alcubierre. She had personally overseen the construction of the Alcubierre drive. Her request to join the crew, giving up a prized position in the United World Engineering Corps, had been a surprise. She had been readily accepted. Kai snorted, trying to imagine someone with enough of a spine to try and stop her application. Idara sat high on Kai's list of people to build a stronger bond with, but it was difficult to scratch her steely surface to see what lay beneath.
Chief Medical Officer Kate Lai. American of mixed descent. Half Chinese, half of half of Europe. Kai had worked with the good doctor off and on, though more on than off of late. She was on the Alcubierre because she was one of the few that could check Kai, a valuable commodity as far as he was concerned. Command had odd effects on a person. It was difficult to retain your empathy. To understand what it was like to not have power. If absolute power corrupts absolutely, then Kate was there to make sure he wasn't absolutely corrupted. She had been prepared to protect her patient at the potential cost of a galaxy, and her actions were why Jack was sitting there today.
There were dozens of other top flight executors, an entire crew of them, all looking to him. He had led men and women in war, and now he lead them into the unknown. This was not a field of battle, it was a map of the galaxy and Kai was expected to play humanity's hand wisely. No one could be ready for this, but that was what command was: the ability to make the best decision under ambiguous circumstances.
No, Kai could never hope to compete with this crew, and he would never want to. They would do, and he would decide. Kai pulled the Chief Comm Channel up, "All Chiefs. I want an update. Thirty minutes."

"It is a logic chain," Jack said to the assembled Chiefs. "There does not appear to be any difference in the chain based on the medium of communication. Just a repeated set of simple math problems with true/false answers. Here's an example." He displayed the problems, which were presented as a series of dots and flashes that were then converted to a set of statements.
"One plus one equals two. True." Kai read out loud, before raising a quizzical eyebrow at his Chief Science Officer. "Seems a bit basic for wormhole creating aliens."
Jack shook his head, "That isn't the point, Admiral." He pointed to a set of problems just below. "One plus one equals one. False. One plus two equals three. True. Two plus two equals four."
"True," Kai replied.
A broad grin graced Jack's face, his eyes dancing mischievously, "Ah, but that's just it Admiral, they have not told us whether it is true or false."
Kai could see where it was going, but he decided to play along. A bit of theater would smooth over everyone's nerves. "I take it they haven't solved the great mystery of two plus two then?"
"Smart money says they've worked it out, they just want to see if we have," Jack minimized the example set of problems and displayed hundreds of more, in each case there was a red, highlighted line where a true/false was missing. "They're waiting for a response. Our best guess is that this serves as a basic communication primer and a sentience test. When we respond--"
"If," Kai cut in, "if we respond. That's not a given here. But continue."
Jack wilted slightly at that, but relaunched into his presentation, "Should we choose to respond, then the other species will be able to determine a number of things about us. Foremost among them would be a preferred means of communication. Second would be a pairing of our symbolic logic characters with the binary framings they have primarily used to convey the puzzles in." He thought about that for a moment, scratching behind his ear, "That's sort of interesting in and of itself. Our system is based on zeros and ones, but that wasn't a guarantee. I wonder if that's a constant or--"
"Jack, stick to the main trunk. You can prune the tree later, I just want everyone up to speed on what we're dealing with."
The Chief Science Officer flushed and then nodded, "Yes, of course, well, as I was saying..." his eyes roved over the diagram for a second before he found his stride again, "so, in addition to figuring out a preferred mode of communication, we would have the beginnings of a language bridge as well. At least theoretically, it is very possible we respond with math and just get more math and they just aren't able to consume content outside of that framework, but I don't think that will be the case."
"Explain."
"I cannot say I have the evidence to fully support this assertion, but I'd guess they've done this before. The sophistication is just too high for this to be a novelty. They're projecting across every medium we can think of. Their opening salvo, basic maths, is plausibly universal in application widely accessible. We will not know until we respond, but this feels like we are dealing with experts."
There was a rustling among the other chiefs at this, but it was Idara that gave voice to startling conclusion first, "You think there are more of them. More aliens."
Jack shrugged, "The biggest debate was always whether there was any. Now that there is one, two is orders of magnitude more likely. The fact we're interacting with a sophisticated communications platform bodes well for that fact. There's also the point that their travel technology, wormholes, is well designed for established point-to-point interactions. Again, I'm in speculative territory here, but I think I'm on the right side of the guess."
Idara leaned back in her chair, casting a glance to Kate Lai beside her. "I'm just going to stick to humans," Kai said with a small smile.
"So, should we tell them about the wonders of two plus two then, Jack?" Kai asked.
"I do not see another option. Despite our best efforts the Alcubierre drive remains offline which effectively strands us. Beyond that, whatever is out there saved us, our home, and, given the size of the anticipated death halo, maybe their home as well. We probably owe it to them to try and explain ourselves, particularly since we are not far enough away from home that they will not be able to put two and two together on their own and find Earth."
More than one crew member shifted uncomfortably at the last statement, but Jack's bluntness on the subject only made him more persuasive. "I want each round of response vetted by you personally Jack. If we start getting out of grade school and into college on maths, I want to be notified. If we get a communication bridge up, I want to be notified. If they start asking us about our home, I want to be notified." Kai leaned forward, his broad shoulders hunching in as he peered at Jack, "Discretion, Jack. We're all excited, but let's make sure we're taking the caution this deserves. Understood?"
Jack straightened and gave a nod, "Yes, Admiral." He paused, "Do we have permission to respond?"
Kai nodded, "Affirmative. Tell them that two plus two really does equal four. I imagine it'll be a big relief for them."

ZyyXy felt a mixture of curiosity and helplessness as it monitored the First Contact Program, its cilia curling and unfurling reflexively. Until a means of communication was established, particularly one that could supply a foundation for complex communication, ZyyXy could only observe. ZyyXy administered the flows deftly, pulling in the data as quickly as it could be created, but as of yet there was very little to access as the Angelysians had not yet responded. The absence of information was highly frustrating, and ZyyXy spent the time devising explanations as to why there was not yet a response.
Perhaps the very act of executing the FCP had created offense. ZyyXy was an observation purpose-specialization, not a diplomat, it was entirely possible it had behaved rashly. There may be consequences, all because it had acted without proper context and consideration.
ZyyXy's cilia stopped their furtive movements as it searched its consciousness. The thought had felt foreign. Not its own. It had been Left-minded. Such a thing should not happen. But ZyyXy had not merged before. This merge had not been sanctioned by the Zix nor overseen by a merge purpose-specialist. Perhaps there were unintended side effects. Things ZyyXy could not possibly anticipate. A cost for its actions.
More Left-mindedness.
ZyyXy delved deeper until could feel the presence within it. It was small, struggling amongst a sea of ZyyXy's thoughts, as if entangled in a Zix Moot. But among the tangled weave of ZyyXy's thought threads, a single thought-thread reached out from the small presence and into ZyyXy's consciousness. Questioning XyyZy's actions. Raising doubts.
Xy remained. Consumed, subsumed, but not eliminated.
Vexed, ZyyXy pruned its threads, emotion and thought alike, returning to a blank state. Slowly, it re-established only those threads ZyyXy permitted and held firm control over. The presence within wilted, shrinking further as ZyyXy's consciousness re-asserted itself. Before ZyyXy could move to excise the irksome presence within, the FCP's data flows shifted, drawing ZyyXy's attention away.
The Angelysians had responded.
Xy was forgotten as ZyyXy established a cluster of thought-threads to monitor the progress of the communication framework. There would be much to glean even from the initial response, and the opportunity to return to its natural predisposition as an observer was a welcome respite after the chaos and fears of the time since it had initially discovered the mysterious object from Sol. Already the communication framework began to fill in, occurring in tandem with the analysis of the second, more essential set of data the FCP began to deliver.
The Species Assessment. The FCP had been used by the Combine across millions of initial interactions with species. All of that data had been used to build a model of what species were possible candidates for membership in the Combine, which were best left ignore, and which posed active threats. The outcome of the assessment could have dramatic consequences for the Angelysians.
ZyyXy expelled its fluid, shrinking down.

I am working on a white hat side project, my intention is to scrape behind a login screen of my own data so that I can plot it :)

I am able to run the code on local env (mac os/ details below) it logins in and able to go to the desired behind login page.

However when promoted to remote linux server (ubuntu/ details below) it fails to login and is rerouted back to login page.

At first I thought it was ip/ dns registering as blacklisted but then I ran both behind a nordvpn (server: us5793) and was still getting the same result: (Works on local not on Remote)

**My Speculation** Is one of two things,
1 the chromedriver binary responds differently to the `cdc` replacement you do in your code acts differently in my linux env
2 the way javascript is reinjected back into the code isn't correctly working in linux.

*Quick update: * I am still getting this issue. To extract variables from the equation, IE Ubuntu vs Mac os and Local vs Amazon, I'm spinning up a ubuntu instance on an old mac mini to see if the code can run there.

• I really like the survival kit and small battery.
• The Basic Assembler needs an additional port. Small Grid version of this Basic stuff would be awesome too.
• Hydrogen engines and in fact all power sources need some adjustments. Hydrogen in general needs work for power and thrusters. They are all to inefficient. Not so much output, but how much ice it takes to run everything.
• they create a better gameplay loop

• The hydrogen engine feels like it only has two niches:
• - night-time base power on a base outside an atmospheric planet until uranium is available, and:
• - charging batteries on aircraft in long distance flights which aren't using nuclear energy for some reason.
• Batteries have enough energy density to not bother using engines on most rovers(except potentially mobile bases with easy access to ice), while hydrogen engines have a very bad power density that prevents them from being used as a main power source for most aicraft - especially with the added construction component requirement on atmospheric thrusters.
• Hydrogen engines lose out to batteries on energy storage density by volume, and very nearly also on mass. My personal balancing would place small grid hydrogen engines around 2 MW(moving power-to-mass and power density to roughly the level an aircraft engine would probably achieve in the 1960s if they weren't replaced by gas turbines or jet engines) and increase their energy efficiency to 20kJ/L.
• The hydrogen engine would make more sense as a fusion reactor.
• Make atomo thrusters more expensive. A jet and a car has a huge price gap in real life. :-)
• Balance on inventory size is necessary, especially the survival kit.
• Need smaller hydro and oxygen tanks for small grid, like 1x2, and a small grid hydro engine. Thanks for small battery!!
• They are a nice little step toward more survival gameplay, but it's still a tiny effort. There are things that are as cheap, or cheaper to implement that would add more content for the player. One of the cheapest example is the simple concrete blocks, that would give a role to gravel and a cheap construction material for atmosphere building.
• Love 'em and the progression they provide to the game
• we need more blocks, and a cheaper component like circuit boards that uses copper
• The block models all look good. I especially like the basic assembler. I do wish the hydrogen engine was a little more efficient, but I didn't test it extensively.
• A step in the right direction
• Wind turbines are awesome. Small batteries are nice to have paired with hydrogen engine since power is required to run conveyor to get gas to engine if blackout occurs. Small battery is easy to put anywhere in off-state, to turn on later. Nice to have cheap block for health regeneration, however if it is damaged we cannot refine silver for medical components until the large refinery is built.

• Does the hydro engine run all the time? Can it be set to run only when needed to recharge batteries or power the grid? Does it need a hydrogen tank or only an h2o2 generator?

• Survival kit has too much functionality, serving too many roles although it is painfully slow to build anything so that helps to balance it. Wind turbines should be generating far more power than solar panels. We need more armour block shapes and weapon options- having to rely on mod packs that break constantly is getting rather tiresome, this game will live or die after final release based on how rich the vanilla game is, and right now it is sorely lacking in a few key areas...
• Addition of Hydrogen Generators should coincide with the addition of smaller hydrogen tanks
• They need more explanation in-game. All blocks should have an info tab, like giving the basic refinery a list of things it can refine.

• It needs more refinement, some is good but other elements of it make little sense.

Cargo ship / random encounter comments

• Sorry, I've always used the modded ones instead.
• Haven't find any because I played an hour or so.
• I like how they don’t broadcast their positions all the time. But we still don’t have planet based encounters. It’s a real shame mods have outdone keen on this aspect 1000% better. Works needs more life, not just random ships flying around. We need bases to find, and to defend against.

• Well I always play with Random Encounters mod on,, even on the public test. Reavers etc so didn´t try it out.

A good first step in that direction would be to buy the work of Meridius_IX for example, incorporate it and deepen the NPC mechanics and AI, and expend NPC presence in potentially every zone of the game (planets, planet core, etc. the key word being potential, NPC placement when a word is started need randomization). For a company so linked to a commercial enterprise making and seeling pro AI, Space Engineers AI feels a lot like a late 80's game. More work is needed.
• These are amazing. They need to be on planets as well otherwise there's literally no reason to stay on a planet.
• They seem to attack bases on moon and crash down, which gives free resources.

• I joined a faction late game after playing MP solo for days. I logged off in my ship before bed and in the morning spawned at the faction base 2000 km away. Thankfully i had a gos waypoint and a good person jumped me back to my ship. Completely powered, no damage, medbay active. Fail
• Like it on Single Player so you cant TP to planets etc.
• I like new system, but most of time your base got offline raided.
• You should only spawn near players in your faction, and the default should be farther away.
• Makes the game a lot less boring, being so close to other people's stuff.
• I don't play MP
• Spawning near others is good for playing with friends but other players quickly go to piracy and looting which make starting fresh dangerous.
• I would like a way, with a long cool down perhaps, to spawn at faction mates bases. To help them build or check out their creations.

• this system is so incredibly exploitable its not even funny. who though this was a good idea?! it completely ruins any and all PVP servers since offline protection is just not a thing and protection by hiding is impossible. the only way to protect against people spamming respawn to find your shit is to just QUIT

• It's kinda neat to be spawned near others, but it makes it hard to isolate yourself from them if you want to.
• After spawning on Mars, I did find the occasional enemy player starter ship and salvaged them. After traveling around For a few hours I realized that all Mars players were near my own spawn, and that the rest of the planet is basically barren. No reason to travel around since all resources and players are found in a rather small area.
• While i can see the appeal in spawning near other players, i think it’s much better if we could choose to spawn with specific players. (So that you don’t have to find your friends, but also don’t spawn next to every other player)
• I think there should clear user interface when respawning. And there needs to be a way to make sure you are not spawned near non faction players

Temperature mechanic comments

• it is good, not something too great to micromanage but quite realistic
• Seems to do nothing but drain your suit energy faster and kill you if you run out. It would be better if there was an in inventory recharge item like with Oxygen/Hydrogen bottles.

• Feels unecessary in it’s current state. Could be interesting if it affected the player more, like extreme cold causing your health to decrease over time.
• The damage done should be much less. You probably wouldn't freeze to death in 30 seconds
• Not sure what it does of what its purpose was in survival mode. You could freeze and not see any adverse affects besides knowing that you’re freezing with no consequence.

New chat / inventory size comments

• needs to be larger, shuttling resources early game is very time consuming and boring
• Tiny inventories suck. I don't care if i am having fun wrong. I want to be able to carry enough ore/components to make a whole block...
• Separate options for the Inventory size is needed for sure
• Grid size default is too big. Back diwn to 1 or 2 medium size cargo to fill my needs. Make us work for that cargo space.

• Chat is good but small inv sizes make early game progression slow but if it was too large players could just hold m1 with the rifle (please add a reload and maybe add craft able weapon attachment instead of generic always pick the highest rate of fire rifle)
• Player inventory would be a great place to add different suits such as an armored suit or a construction suit with bigger inventory as well as different jetpacks like an atmospheric pack and a ion pack in addition to the now standard hydrogen pack.

• This game needs a game mode like "How long can you survive". For example every 2nd or 3rd day you get a wave of drones that tries to kill you and wipe your base. Ofc it it easy at start so you can progress and build strong bases and ships.End goal, either reach and destroy their main base on a planet far away that only can be reached after wiping their bases on planets / space.
• Space Engineers feel a way more interesting game with survival update. It feels more alive, but still empty.
• I would like to ask to make some alternatives from grinding\welding\mining\taking or storing components gameplay. Simple economy system (EEM did it right with uranium as currency), NPC stores with trading (selling ships and buying from blueprint included).
• More NPC factions, encounters, planetary encounters would be neat.
  
• Combat system overhaul would be amazing. Bullet penetration system, ricochets.
  
• It overall felt like a step in the good direction, but a bit disappointing. The MP overhaul took an almost unusable feature and made it usable, good even. This doesn't feel like this, survival is 1/4 of the game and before this patch it felt it was 20% there, now it's 30% there. Good, but by far not nearly enough.
  
• Look at Subnautica, The Long Dark, Oxygen Not Included, Terraria, and so on. Space Engineers has thing they do not, they have things SE doesn't have (survival being only a fourth of Space Engineers). But on the survival gameplay mechanics, feedbacks, the way it integrate with the rest of the game, SE unfortunately isn't there yet.
  
• If there's more big patchs for survival, then for exploration (another 1/4th of the game that's somewhat empty and shallow), then it's OK it's all good, good work. If not, that's a big issue.
  

This is a pretty amazing update. Nice job, Keen! I look forward to seeing the full release. Here are a few things I really like, in no particular order:

• The new grid durability is nice. I like being able to actually have something left over when I crash into the ground.
  
• The new textures for voxels, as well as the new models for dropped ore, look amazing.
  
• - The new block models are absolutely gorgeous. I especially like the glass face on the basic assembler.
  
• - The fact that the game now spawns you near other players is amazing, and makes the game much more interesting and exciting.
  
• - The new chat system is so much better than the old one. It's really nice.
  
• - The new encounters are really nice. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the drones can actually use forward-facing weaponry now! Some gorgeous encounters. And they're actually findable, which is nice.
  
• - The new tree models are nice. Sadly, trees still aren't useful for anything.
  
• - The UI seems to have received some extra polish, which is nice.
  

With that said, there's still room for improvement:

• - As someone on the subreddit (RoninTheAccuser, i believe) pointed out, the caution stripes on the small grid survival kit are improperly done, with the yellow background not covering the full length of the stripes.
  
• - The new inventory size is just a bit too small. I believe it defaults to 3x? I think it should be 5x, instead.
  
• - I think the survival kit should be just a little more efficient at producing metals, to lessen the grind a bit.
  
• - The lighting seems to be just a little wonky, but maybe that's just me.
  
• - I think the hydrogen engine should be just a little more powerful.
  
• - You still can't copy text from the chat, which is a big problem. Please, fix this.
  
• - While we're on the subject of the chat, it'd be nice if it'd show faction tags, so you could see what faction a player is in.
  
• - There are still no planetary encounters outside of the Easy Start worlds, from what I've seen. Planetary encounters would make the game way more fun.
  
• - Since the last update, when you look at a block (such as a door, cockpit, etc.) that you don't have access to, it will highlight in red, instead of the normal yellow. This makes life easier, as I can actually tell if I can use a block. However, this effect only seems to apply to certain blocks. Cargo containers and other conveyor ports still highlight yellow. This is annoying, and should be fixed.
  

I also have a few things I'd like to see in future updates:

• - Make the rifles less accurate. Currently, they have effectively zero bullet spread at most ranges. I'd like to see this change.
  
• - Maybe introduce some other firearms, like shotguns or pistols, to give players more options when it comes to combat.
  
• - I'd like to see a food mechanic implemented. Farming and the like would add a lot to the game.
  
• - It would be neat to see the temperature and wind mechanics fleshed out. For example, have blocks generate heat, and make temperature management something you need to worry about. As for the wind, perhaps have it blow grids in one direction or another sometimes. Also, other environmental factors might be nice, too. Like maybe radiation hazards, when mining uranium, or when your reactor is damaged.
  
• - To expand on the above topic, weather. Weather would add so much to this game. I understand it'd be tricky to implement, but still. Weather.
  
• - To continue expanding on that, some basic aerodynamics would be nice. Reentry heating, air resistance, and the like.
  
• - NPC astronauts would be cool. You could have them walk around encounter bases, performing tasks, and pilot NPC spacecraft.
  
• - Also, perhaps add more wildlife to planets, other than spiders and wolves. Maybe animals that don't attack you.
  
• - Some more character poses would be nice.
  
• - Maybe add some limited story content (IE: quests). For example, maybe you encounter a destroyed base, and inside of it are GPS coordinates pointing you to something important.
  
• - I'd like to see procedurally generated planets, and/or more variety in the existing planets. For example, perhaps a variant of the Earthlike planet that's entirely covered in snow.
  
• That's all I've got for now. I'd like to congratulate whoever's reading this on actually making it through all that.

The humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico worsened with the inadequate response by the federal government. Amid criticism, Trump threatened to pull out, but later backed off. Although the death count officially stands at 45, reporting revealed possibly hundreds more preventable deaths related to the Hurricane Maria.
Trump remains silent on both California’s deadliest wildfires and the deadliest combat incident since he took office. He continues to focus on undoing Obama’s legacy, piece-by-piece. The Mueller investigation hit Trump’s inner-circle, and social media’s role in aiding Russia continues to unfold.

1. On Saturday night, Richard Spencer led another white supremacist torch-lit rally at University of Virginia. The rally lasted 10 minutes and 40-50 people attended. Spencer vowed, “we will keep coming back.”
2. On Sunday, Trump attacked former ally Sen. Bob Corker in a series of incendiary tweets, saying “Corker “begged” me to endorse him for re-election” and “wanted to be Secretary of State.” Trump claimed to have said no to both.
3. Corker responded, tweeting it’s a shame the WH has become an “adult day care center,” and that someone “missed their shift this morning.”
4. On Sunday, Pence left a Colts game after a protest during the national anthem. Pence later issued a full statement opposing the protests. The Colts were playing the 49ers, a team known to protest.
5. Before the game, Pence tweeted a photo of him and the Second Lady wearing Colts gear. The photo was one he originally tweeted in 2014.
6. Shortly after, Trump tweeted he had asked Pence to leave the game “if any players kneeled,” and said he was proud of Pence and the Second Lady.
7. The pool of journalists covering Pence were not allowed into the stadium, and were told, “there may be an early departure from the game.” ABC estimated Pence’s flight cost taxpayers nearly $250k.
8. Bowing to pressure from Trump, the Cowboys’ Jerry Jones, after kneeling with players in week 3 of the season, changed course saying any player who “disrespects the flag” by kneeling will not be allowed to play.
9. On Tuesday, Trump threatened the NFL over protests saying the league is “getting massive tax breaks” and the law should be changed. This claim is false: the NFL gave up its 501(c)(6) tax-exempt status in 2015.
10. On Tuesday, bowing to pressure from Trump and fans, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who previously had said players had the right to voice their opinions, sided with owners opposed to letting players demonstrate.
11. On Monday, Pence headlined a fundraiser in CA for Republicans including controversial, Kremlin-ally Rep. Dana Rohrabacher. Rohrabacher had a previously undisclosed meeting in Russia with Veselnitskaya described in Week 47.
12. University of Wisconsin approved a policy which calls for suspending or expelling students who disrupt campus speeches and presentations. The policy mirrors Republican legislation passed by the state Assembly.
13. On Columbus Day, unlike Obama, Trump celebrated the “arrival of Europeans,” but did not mention of the suffering of Native Americans.
14. On Sunday, the Trump’s DHS allowed the Jones Act waiver, which helped speed relief to Puerto Rico, to expire. No explanation was given.
15. Trump’s EPA announced it would repeal the Clean Power Plan, Obama’s signature policy to curb greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. The statement described the regulation as the “so-called Clean Power Plan.”
16. On Friday, Trump addressed the Value Voters Summit hosted by the Family Research Council, which has been classified by SPLC as an anti-gay hate group. Trump is the first US leader to address the group.
17. Reuters reported the Trump regime has been quietly cutting support for halfway houses for federal prisoners, severing contracts with as many as 16 facilities, necessitating some inmates stay behind bars longer.
18. ABC reported the Treasury Dept’s inspector general is looking into allegations reported by BuzzFeed in Week 47 that agency officials have been illegally looking at private financial records of US citizens.
19. A report compiled by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) at House and Senate Democrats’ request, found the Trump transition team ignored ethics officials and refused to cooperate with the GAO.
20. Trump named Kathleen Hartnett White to the WH’s Council on Environmental Quality. Hartnett White, a climate science denier, once also said, “fossil fuels dissolved the economic justification for slavery.”
21. In response to a filing by CREW, Trump’s DOJ told a court in DC that Trump can destroy records without judicial review, including tweets.
22. Brian Brooks became the second candidate under consideration for deputy Treasury Secretary to withdraw from consideration. Mnuchin said he has no plans to fill the number two slot in his agency.
23. WAPO reported at the Interior Dept, when Zinke enters the building a staffer takes the elevator to the seventh floor, climbs the stairs to the roof and puts up a special flag. The flag comes down when he leaves.
24. On Wednesday, NBC reported Tillerson calling Trump a “moron” was provoked by Trump suggesting a tenfold increase in the US nuclear arsenal during a July 20 meeting with the high-ranking national security leaders.
25. In response to the story which he called “Fake News,” Trump tweeted a threat to revoke the broadcasting licenses of “NBC and the Networks.”
26. Later that afternoon, at a news conference, Trump again lashed out at the independent news media saying it’s “frankly disgusting the press is able to write whatever it wants to write.”
27. In a statement Wednesday night, Republican Sen. Ben Sasse asked Trump if he was “recanting” his oath to protect the First Amendment.
28. Indiana Republican lawmaker Jim Lucas drafted a bill that would require professional journalists to be licensed by state police.
29. Under pressure to confirm Trump’s judicial nominees, McConnell will no longer allow “blue slips,” used by senators to deny a nominee from their state a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing and vote on confirmation.
30. The Trump regime withdrew from United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), citing anti-Israel bias and a being in arrears on a $550 million payment. Israel remains part of UNESCO.
31. NYT published an interview with Corker in which he said Trump is treating his office like a “reality show” with reckless threats at other country that could put our country “on the path to World War III.”
32. Corker said he is concerned about Trump, and Trump’s behavior should concern “anyone who cares about our nation.” He added there is no ‘good cop, bad cop’ underway with Tillerson — Trump is undermining diplomacy.
33. Corker said nearly all Senate Republican share his concerns: “the vast majority of our caucus understands what we’re dealing with here.”
34. WAPO reported Trump is frustrated by his cabinet and that he is not getting enough credit for his handling of three hurricanes. Trump is lashing out and rupturing alliances with both Republicans and Democrats.
35. One confidant said Trump is like a whistling teapot, saying when he does not blow off steam, he can turn into a pressure cooker and explode: “I think we are in pressure cooker territory.”
36. Politico quoted 10 sources current and former WH aides who employed strategies like delays and distractions as “guardrails” in trying to manage Trump’s impulsivity.
37. Vanity Fair reported sources say Trump is “unstable,” “losing a step,” and “unraveling.” They say the WH is in crisis as advisers struggle to contain Trump who is increasingly unfocused and consumed by dark moods.
38. Trump allegedly told his former bodyguard Schiller, “I hate everyone in the White House!” Kelly is allegedly miserable in the job, and is staying on in a sense of duty and to keep Trump from making disastrous decisions.
39. One former official speculated Kelly and Mattis have discussed what they would do if Trump ordered a nuclear strike — “would they tackle him?”
40. According to sources, Bannon said the risk to Trump’s presidency wasn’t impeachment, but the 25th Amendment. Bannon thinks Trump has only a 30% chance of making it the full term.
41. In a column “What Bob Corker Sees in Trump,” conservative columnist Peggy Noonan urged Republicans they have a duty to speak on the record about what they see happening with Trump.
42. On Thursday, at a signing ceremony for his health care executive order, Trump nearly walked out of the room without signing the order. Pence pulled him back in.
43. On Tuesday, Trump said in an interview with Forbes that he could beat Tillerson in an IQ test. Trump met with Tillerson later that day at the WH.
44. On Friday, Corker called out Trump for his effort to disempower Tillerson saying: “You cannot publicly castrate your own secretary of state without giving yourself that binary choice.”
45. CNN’s Fareed Zakaria said, “It’s very clear now that we essentially have no diplomacy going on in the United States,” adding the way Trump has treated Tillerson is “the most dramatic example of it.”
46. On CBS’s 60 Minutes, Parscale claimed he fine-tuned ads on Facebook to directly reach voters with the exact messages they cared most about. He also claimed he handpicked Republican Facebook employees to help.
47. Daily Beast reported the Kremlin recruited two black video bloggers, Williams and Kalvin Johnson, to produce incendiary YouTube videos calling Hillary a racist. The videos were spread on social media platforms.
48. WAPO reported Google has uncovered evidence about $100k of ads purchased by Russian agents to spread disinformation on across the company’s many products, including YouTube, during the 2016 election.
49. Google said the ads do not appear to be from the same Kremlin-linked troll farm that bought ads on Facebook. Some ads touted Trump, Bernie Sanders, and Jill Stein, while others aimed to fan the flames of divisive issues.
50. Rep. Devin Nunes, who recused himself as Chair of the House Intel Committee’s Russia probe, unilaterally signed off on subpoenas to Fusion GPS, the research firm that produced the Steele dossier. Democrats were not consulted.
51. Reuters reported Chuck Grassley, the Republican chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, is also taking steps to discredit the dossier according to Democrats on the committee.
52. Carter Page told the Senate Intel Committee that he will not cooperate with any requests to appear before the panel on Russia, and will plead the Fifth.
53. Daily Beast reported the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence is looking at Cambridge Analytica’s work from the Trump campaign as part of its Russian probe.
54. Cambridge Analytica, which has ownership ties to the Mercers and Bannon, was brought in to help the campaign by Kushner. The company is also under investigation in the UK watchdog for its role in Brexit.
55. NYT reported Israel caught Kaspersky Lab working with the Russian government to search the world for US secrets, using Kaspersky software to scan for classified words. Kaspersky software is used by 400 million people.
56. WSJ reported that Russia’s use of the Kaspersky program to spy on the US is broader and more pervasive than the operation against one individual in Week 47. Trump continues to deny Russian meddling in the US election.
57. Politico reported as part their posture to cooperate, Trump’s attorneys may offer Mueller a meeting with Trump. If Mueller doesn’t ask by Thanksgiving, attorneys may force the issue by volunteering his time.
58. Legal experts were surprised by Trump’s lawyers strategy noting Trump would be speaking under oath and he routinely distorts facts, and that Trump would be interviewed in connection with a criminal investigation.
59. CNN reported Russian operatives used YouTube, Tumblr, and even Pokémon Go as part of their effort to interfere in the election, using a campaign titled “Don’t Shoot Us” to spread a divisive message.
60. NBC reported Manafort had a previously undisclosed $26 million loan from Deripaska through a series of transactions. It is unclear if the $26 million is a loan or an indirect payment from the Russian oligarch.
61. The loan brings the total financial relationship between Manafort and Deripaska to $60 million over the past decade, according to financial documents filed in Cyprus and the Cayman Islands.
62. Manafort’s spokesman, Jason Maloni, initially responded to NBC with a statement including: “Mr. Manafort is not indebted to former clients today, nor was he at the time he began working for the Trump campaign.”

66. On Friday, Mueller’s team interviewed Trump’s former chief of staff, Priebus. Priebus’ lawyer said he voluntarily met with investigators and “was happy to answer all of their questions.”
67. Priebus was present during Trump’s efforts to limit the Russia probe, and for discussions that led to the firing of Comey. He was also asked to leave the Oval Office before the infamous Trump-Comey conversation.
68. Politico reported Twitter deleted tweets and other user data of potentially irreplaceable value to investigators in the Russia probe.
69. Federal investigators believe Twitter was one of Russia’s most potent weapons. Bots and fake accounts launched recurring waves of pro-Trump, anti-Clinton story lines that were either false or greatly exaggerated.
70. AP reported Twitter has turned over 201 accounts linked to Russian attempts at influencing the 2016 election to Senate investigators. It is unclear if the posts associated with these accounts have been deleted.
71. CNN reported an attorney for Roger Stone said he has complied with the House Intel Committee request to provide the identity of his intermediary to WikiLeaks’ Assange.
72. WSJ reported Congressional investigators are homing in on connections between the Trump campaign, and Facebook, and Twitter. Digital director Parscale was paid $88 million during the campaign, the highest paid vendor.
73. Every vendor that worked with Parscale on the Trump campaign signed a nondisclosure agreement, and there are no federal disclosure requirements for online ads.
74. Both Congress and Mueller are investigating the role activity on Facebook and Twitter played in the 2016 election, and whether the Russian social-media activity was in any connected to the Trump campaign.
75. A Morning Consult poll found Trump’s approval has fallen in every state since he took office. The swings were as high as 30 percentage points in blue-states IL and CA, to 11 points in red-state LA.
76. A Reuters/Ipsos poll found Trump’s popularity is eroding in small towns and rural communities: in September 47 approve/47 disapprove, down from 55/39 in his first four weeks in office.
77. WAPO reported as of October 10, Trump’s first 263 days in office, he has made 1,318 false or misleading claims.
78. The Brookings Institute released a 108-page report which concluded Trump “likely obstructed justice” in his firing of Comey. If Mueller agrees, there are legitimate articles of impeachment that could be drawn up.
79. In a letter to Mattis, over 100 Democrats are demanding proof that Trump did indeed consult with the Pentagon as he claimed in a tweet, prior to announcing his ban of transgender individuals from military service.
